Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® teaches parents:

• how to handle misbehaviors without breaking a sweat
• how to avoid power struggles
• how to guide kids to own and solve their own problems
• how to use thinking words verses fighting words
• how to use delayed consequences
• how to neutralize arguing

Wednesday evenings February  15th, 2012 – March 21st, 2012

TIME:

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Participants will:

• watch video segments of Jim Fay, Charles Fay, PhD., and Foster W. Cline, M.D.,
sharing lively, engaging stories as well as role playing situations.
• review and discuss each video segment
• follow along and do simple written activities in a parenting workbook
• try newly learned techniques at home and share their own experiences
• ask questions about specific parenting concerns
• problem-solve with other parents
• have fun and enjoy learning they are not alone in the world of parenting
